My maritime career began in 2002 as a Deck Cadet under the sponsorship of Emirates Trading Agency / Al Ghurair Group in Dubai. Over two decades, I ascended the ranks to command, developing extensive expertise in strategic planning, vessel operations, and technical maintenance. My seagoing tenure involved navigating a diverse fleet, including tankers, container ships, and bulk carriers. I possess significant experience commanding Post-Panamax vessels on global routes, calling at major international ports while sailing for prominent firms such as Bahri Ship Management and Synergy Ship Management. Throughout this journey, I have maintained my Master Mariner certification, which serves as the cornerstone of my professional consulting.
Moving Ashore
In 2021, I transitioned into shore-based leadership to apply my two decades of practical expertise to new maritime challenges. I joined Austben Marine Services LLC in Dubai as Port Captain, Senior Marine Surveyor, and Operations Manager. My work encompassed P&I claims, flag state inspections, navigation audits, and a full suite of surveys including Pre-SIRE, CMI condition, pre-purchase, and heavy-lift MWS operations. By 2023, I moved into the role of Marine & QHSE Manager at Azimuth Ship Management LLC, Dubai. There, I managed the operational safety and environmental compliance of oil tankers and dry multi-purpose carriers, overseeing complex fleet certifications and maritime inspections.
A New Chapter in Europe
Starting in 2026, I have centered my operations in Europe, offering specialized maritime and surveying services to a global client base. Driven by a lifelong commitment to the shipping and logistics sectors, I strive for technical excellence in every consultation. My goal is to leverage over 24 years of experience to enhance the safety, efficiency, and growth of the maritime industry.
